knitter down!

Friday, Jess was getting ready for her shower. (this might be TMI, but our showers overlap, so that I can wash her hair before I get out.) Anyway, Jess made  blot for the tub, tripped and almost made contact with the tub wall, using her face. I caught her before she hit, but in doing so, I have sprained my wrist.  My good wrist too.  It hurts, and has somewhat limited my plans for the weekend. That being said, I’d trade Jess’ possible face injury for a sprained wrist any day.

Hey, Jennifer.  Remember all that tapestry wool you gave me way back when?  My mom asked for all the orange I could spare her.  Look what she did with it.Dsc02599

it’s absolutely beautiful.  A striped sockinette blanket with some very pretty crocheted edging.  Unfortunately it’s not for me.

Oh my gosh!! Sorry to hear about your wrist. I sure hope it heals up fast. That has to be so annoying.
I really love your mom’s afghan. I’m not much of an orange person but that is beautiful!
